Applying to Stars

We are glad you have made the decision to participate in Delaware Stars, Delaware’s Quality Rating and Improvement System.  The staff at Delaware Stars are committed to supporting you and your program by offering financial incentives, information and support, resources and technical assistance so that your child care program can offer children the very best early learning experience.

Click here for the application to apply for Delaware Stars.  Once you complete the application you may either submit it online, fax it to 302-831-4223 or mail it to Delaware Stars, 111 Alison West, University of Delaware, Newark, DE  19716.  You will receive a letter acknowledging your application.  Applications are screened with the Office of Child Care Licensing, the Purchase of Care program and the Child and Adult Care Food Program once per month.  This process takes approximately 30 days to complete.  Once your application has been screened, you will receive a letter of acceptance as a participating program with Delaware Stars.
